Disable crawler in FS/NAS gateway mode (#9695)
No one really uses FS for large scale accounting
usage, neither we crawl in NAS gateway mode. It is
worthwhile to simply disable this feature as its
not useful for anyone.

Bonus disable bucket quota ops as well in, FS
and gateway mode

avoid net/http ErrorLog for consistent logging experience (#9672)
net/http exposes ErrorLog but it is log.Logger
instance not an interface which can be overridden,
because of this reason the logging is interleaved
sometimes with TLS with messages like this on the
server

```
http: TLS handshake error from 139.178.70.188:63760: EOF
```

This is bit problematic for us as we need to have
consistent logging view for allow --json or --quiet
flags.

With this PR we ensure that this format is adhered to.

migrate all bucket metadata into a single file (#9586)
this is a major overhaul by migrating off all
bucket metadata related configs into a single
object '.metadata.bin' this allows us for faster

as keeps the code simple enough for future
work and additions.

Additionally also fixes #9396, #9394

allow retries for bucket encryption/policy quorum reloads (#9513)
We should allow quorum errors to be send upwards
such that caller can retry while reading bucket
encryption/policy configs when server is starting
up, this allows distributed setups to load the
configuration properly.

Current code didn't facilitate this and would have
never loaded the actual configs during rolling,
server restarts.

Add API's for managing bucket quota (#9379)
This PR allows setting a "hard" or "fifo" quota
restriction at the bucket level. Buckets that
have reached the FIFO quota configured, will
automatically be cleaned up in FIFO manner until
bucket usage drops to configured quota.
If a bucket is configured with a "hard" quota
ceiling, all further writes are disallowed.

add data update tracking using bloom filter (#9208)
By monitoring PUT/DELETE and heal operations it is possible
to track changed paths and keep a bloom filter for this data.

This can help prioritize paths to scan. The bloom filter can identify
paths that have not changed, and the few collisions will only result
in a marginal extra workload. This can be implemented on either a
bucket+(1 prefix level) with reasonable performance.

The bloom filter is set to have a false positive rate at 1% at 1M
entries. A bloom table of this size is about ~2500 bytes when serialized.

To not force a full scan of all paths that have changed cycle bloom
filters would need to be kept, so we guarantee that dirty paths have
been scanned within cycle runs. Until cycle bloom filters have been
collected all paths are considered dirty.

fix: various optimizations, idiomatic changes (#9179)
- acquire since leader lock for all background operations
  - healing, crawling and applying lifecycle policies.

- simplify lifecyle to avoid network calls, which was a
bug in implementation - we should hold a leader and
do everything from there, we have access to entire
  name space.

- make listing, walking not interfere by slowing itself
  down like the crawler.

- effectively use global context everywhere to ensure
proper shutdown, in cache, lifecycle, healing

- don't read `format.json` for prometheus metrics in
  StorageInfo() call.

36e12a6038 Assume local endpoints appropriately in k8s deployments (#8375)
On Kubernetes/Docker setups DNS resolves inappropriately
sometimes where there are situations same endpoints with
multiple disks come online indicating either one of them
is local and some of them are not local. This situation
can never happen and its only a possibility in orchestrated
deployments with dynamic DNS. Following code ensures that we
treat if one of the endpoint says its local for a given host
it is true for all endpoints for the same host. Following code
ensures that this assumption is true and it works in all
scenarios and it is safe to assume for a given host.

This PR also adds validation such that we do not crash the
server if there are bugs in the endpoints list in dsync
initialization.

Thanks to Daniel Valdivia <hola@danielvaldivia.com> for

a3e806ed61 Add disk based edge caching support. (#5182)
This PR adds disk based edge caching support for minio server.

Cache settings can be configured in config.json to take list of disk drives,
cache expiry in days and file patterns to exclude from cache or via environment
variables MINIO_CACHE_DRIVES, MINIO_CACHE_EXCLUDE and MINIO_CACHE_EXPIRY

Design assumes that Atime support is enabled and the list of cache drives is
fixed.
 - Objects are cached on both GET and PUT/POST operations.
 - Expiry is used as hint to evict older entries from cache, or if 80% of cache
   capacity is filled.
 - When object storage backend is down, GET, LIST and HEAD operations fetch
   object seamlessly from cache.

Current Limitations
 - Bucket policies are not cached, so anonymous operations are not supported in
   offline mode.
 - Objects are distributed using deterministic hashing among list of cache
drives specified. If one or more drives go offline, or cache drive
configuration is altered - performance could degrade to linear lookup.

fb96779a8a Add large bucket support for erasure coded backend (#5160)
This PR implements an object layer which
combines input erasure sets of XL layers
into a unified namespace.

This object layer extends the existing
erasure coded implementation, it is assumed
in this design that providing > 16 disks is
a static configuration as well i.e if you started
the setup with 32 disks with 4 sets 8 disks per
pack then you would need to provide 4 sets always.

Some design details and restrictions:

- Objects are distributed using consistent ordering
to a unique erasure coded layer.
- Each pack has its own dsync so locks are synchronized
  properly at pack (erasure layer).
- Each pack still has a maximum of 16 disks
requirement, you can start with multiple
  such sets statically.
- Static sets set of disks and cannot be
changed, there is no elastic expansion allowed.
- Static sets set of disks and cannot be
changed, there is no elastic removal allowed.
- ListObjects() across sets can be noticeably
slower since List happens on all servers,
and is merged at this sets layer.

a337ea4d11 Move admin APIs to new path and add redesigned heal APIs (#5351)
- Changes related to moving admin APIs
   - admin APIs now have an endpoint under /minio/admin
   - admin APIs are now versioned - a new API to server the version is
added at "GET /minio/admin/version" and all API operations have the
     path prefix /minio/admin/v1/<operation>
   - new service stop API added
   - credentials change API is moved to /minio/admin/v1/config/credential
   - credentials change API and configuration get/set API now require TLS
     so that credentials are protected
   - all API requests now receive JSON
   - heal APIs are disabled as they will be changed substantially

- Heal API changes
Heal API is now provided at a single endpoint with the ability for a
client to start a heal sequence on all the data in the server, a
single bucket, or under a prefix within a bucket.

When a heal sequence is started, the server returns a unique token
that needs to be used for subsequent 'status' requests to fetch heal
   results.

On each status request from the client, the server returns heal result
records that it has accumulated since the previous status request. The
server accumulates upto 1000 records and pauses healing further
objects until the client requests for status. If the client does not
request any further records for a long time, the server aborts the
   heal sequence automatically.

A heal result record is returned for each entity healed on the server,
such as system metadata, object metadata, buckets and objects, and has
information about the before and after states on each disk.

A client may request to force restart a heal sequence - this causes
the running heal sequence to be aborted at the next safe spot and
   starts a new heal sequence.

f3f09ed14e Fix a bug in dsync initialization and communication (#5428)
In current implementation we used as many dsync clients
as per number of endpoints(along with path) which is not
the expected implementation. The implementation of Dsync
was expected to be just for the endpoint Host alone such
that if you have 4 servers and each with 4 disks we need
to only have 4 dsync clients and 4 dsync servers. But
we currently had 8 clients, servers which in-fact is
unexpected and should be avoided.

6c2bc0568b Increase default read/write timeouts from 30sec to 15minutes (#4888)
The default timeout of 30secs is not enough for high latency
environments, change these values to use 15 minutes instead.

With 30secs I/O timeouts seem to be quite common, this leads
to pretty much most SDKs and clients reconnect. This in-turn
causes significant performance problems. On a low latency
interconnect this can be quite challenging to transfer large
amounts of data. Setting this value to 15minutes covers
pretty much all known cases.

This PR was tested with `wondershaper <NIC> 20000 20000` by
limiting the network bandwidth to 20Mbit/sec. Default timeout
caused a significant amount of I/O timeouts, leading to
constant retires from the client. This seems to be more common
with tools like rclone, restic which have high concurrency set
by default. Once the value was fixed to 15minutes i/o timeouts
stopped and client could steadily upload data to the server
even while saturating the network.
